Danny Casey Grabs the Big Bucks at MiSupermoto-X!!

August 16 2008: Clio, MI.

Perfect weather and blue skies were the backdrop for Mach 1 Motorsports/Dirt Digits / MDK Speed / SME / Works Connection backed, Danny Casey,  as the Pacifica, California rider continued his Pro Supermoto summer of success, taking home the $1500 winners check in the inaugural MiSupermoto-X event.

Early leader, EvolveMoto/DNA Energy Drink/MotoPR, backed Johnny Lewis had a crash which he quickly re-mounted from and then battled with both Casey and TUF Powersports/Michelin sponsored, Robert Loire. Casey made a move on Lewis on the third lap and made it stick while holding off Lewis for the win while Salem, Wisconsin's, Loire rounded out the podium.

The MiSupermoto-X event also featured rally car racing and the paid attendance estimated over 800 was treated to a full day and night of action with both the four-wheeled warriors and the two-wheeled Supermoto Pro's. The Graves Motorsports/Yamaha, tractor trailer rig was a big draw in the pits, as Team Blue parked their rig at the Auto City Speedway as a great PR "vehicle" before moving it the short trip to Shawano, Wisconsin for next weekends XTRM/AMA Supermoto Championship series round #3.

Both Mark Burkhart's and Brandon Currie's factory Yamaha Supermoto bikes were on display much to the constant attention of the crowd.
