For the DM-leader Michael Herrmann who was already fastest after 5 minutes in the first training session in St. Wendel, his day came to an early end. He fell in the Omega and suffered a broken lower fibula.

"Omega is the starting point I slipped on a small hill, and I lost the front wheel. As I slid across the asphalt everything was okay. In the transition to grass, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in the left ankle and I could not get up," said the Husqvarna pilot.

The diagnosis in the hospital
of St. Wendel Wade led to a smooth broken leg. To speed the healing of the fracture on Sunday or Monday in the orthopedic clinic Markgröningenis he will have surgery to repair the fracture.

Herrmann: "I want to be fit for Dortmund in any case, in order not to lose any more points. The weekend before the European Championship in Andorra is still questionable. But I want to go back as soon as possible."
