Pasadena, CA. (December 15 2011) - Alpina Wheels USA is thrilled to announce a partnership agreement that will provide wheels, a contingency program, and on-site tech support as part of the all new USA Pro Supermoto Series.

 

Alpina Wheels has a long and successful involvement with Supermoto racing at the highest level in Europe for many years through our sponsorship and support of many of the top teams and riders including Factory Husqvarna's Mauno Hermunen, 2009 S1 World Champion, TM Racing's Thomas Chareyre, SHR-Team Honda Matthew Winstanley, Sami Salstola, Malachi Mitchell Thomas, Aprilia Racing Team PMR/H2O Thierry Van Den Bosch, RIGO Team Racing - Suzuki Andrea Occhini, LUX Team Performance - Suzuki Christian Ravaglia, Edgardo Borella, Pergetti Team - Suzuki Elia Samartin, and many many more.
 

Expanding on this success, Alpina Wheels USA, the direct and official distribution arm of Alpina Wheels Italy, will be providing a full range of support for everyone from the top Professional racing in the USA Pro Supermoto Series to the Amateur racer just getting started.

 

A contingency program for individual USA Pro events as well as a season ending bonus is being constructed along with trackside tech support for all racers using the Alpina products. Additionally, a sponsorship package will be available for all racers competing in any sanctioned series in the USA, professional or amateur.

 

Alpina is recognized worldwide for their innovative and state of the art wheels which are up to 25% stronger and 30% lighter than stock units and employ a unique composite of carbon fiber and aluminum.
