June 17
2008
Well it seems like we
have been waiting around for the 2008 AMA Supermoto
Season to kick off and now it is quickly approaching.
After the Moto X World Championships I took a little bit
of time off the bike to refocus and put on another
charge for the Supermoto Lites Championship.
During the off season I started training really hard
with my new trainer, Mike Bell, and have made huge
improvements physically and mentally. I have been doing
a lot of mountain biking along with lots of road biking
and some weight training.
While doing all of
this I have been trying to finish up all my classes at
Cal Poly Pomona so I can focus 100% on the upcoming
season. I am now in the final stretch in my
Manufacturing Engineering Degree and should be
graduated by
spring 2009, which will make the 2009 season much easier
to get ready for.
As far as testing, the bikes are race ready and are
better than they have ever been. We are continuously
making changes to improve the race setup which gives me
lots of confidence going into the 2008 season. I feel
really strong and ready to defend my championship!
I hope to see you all in Seattle in a few short weeks!
Brandon
