Utopia Optics adds Johnny Lewis to its Supermoto Team

Eyewear company jumps on eighteen year-old athlete’s growing program

 

Carlsbad, Calif. (May 12, 2008) – Team Evolve Moto’s Johnny Lewis joins fellow XBux/AMA Supermoto Championship athletes as part of the Utopia Optics team for the 2008 season. He will exclusively wear Utopia goggles and sunglasses. Other Utopia supermoto pro athletes include Micky Dymond, Gary Trachy and Steve Drew.                                                                                       

Utopia markets a premium line of safety and fashion eyewear for the extreme athlete that includes the Warrant, Slayer and Too Dirty goggle models. Its goal is to become one of the top three action sports eyewear brands in the world. Additional notable team athletes include pro motocrossers David Vuillemin, Heath Voss, and Nathan Ramsey.

Lewis added, “I really wanted to wear Utopia goggles and represent them in the XBux/AMA Supermoto Championship. For the past few months I’ve been working with Aldo to put a deal together and here we are. They have safe, functional and stylin’ goggles that compliment my Shoei helmet and AXO gear.”
