Thirty-three Supermoto riders come out to MISuperMoto’s second Test and Tune Day
April 27 2008: The 64-degree, sunny Michigan weather brought out more than 30 riders for the second week in a row for the MISuperMoto Test and Tune Day at Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Michigan. This event was more evidence that the sport continues to grow as about 10 new riders came out including a rider who drive from Chicago. Amateurs and pros took to the four-hour track day on bikes that ranged from AMA Supermoto pro Tim Kiener’s torquey Husaberg to an XR600R with dual-sport tires. Joining last week’s AMA Supermoto pros like the aforementioned Kiener was Kawasaki rider Chase Guthrie who was “backing it in” like no other. The next MISuperMoto Test and Tune Day will be at Auto City Speedway’s new supermoto track in Clio, Michigan. Check out www.misupermoto.com.
